In order to help Theatres offer access for d/Deaf, deafened, and hard-of-hearing audiences members at Post-Show Discussions, Digital 4 has made it possible for Speech-to-Text Reporters to download a free-issue copy of our software onto their outputting laptop and for their Live Output to then be displayed on any of our connected devices – See-A-Voice style Amber Caption Units, our new Venue Caption Units, via Projector, LCD Displays, Tablets and Smart Caption Glasses.
Digital 4 has worked with Speech-To-Text Reporters for many years and they do a fantastic job. Where it is affordable, and for absolutely the best results, we would highly recommend Venues using them.
But for many theatres, particularly smaller venues and touring shows, it is not a form of access that they can afford to offer with the regularity that they would like.
